2008 Cadillac CTS | CTS-V

Cadillac's 2008 CTS has a new 3.6L Direct Injection V6 Varible Valve Timing engine. With DI technology, fuel is atomized and injected straight into the combustion chamber - resulting in cleaner emissions, better fuel economy, and an increase in output to the tune of 258 horsepower. (Cadillac touts a 500hp V8 endowed CTS-V for 2008-2009)

Enhancing CTS performance is the 6-speed Hydra-Matic transmission with Driver Shift Control, all-speed traction control, four wheel independent suspension StabiliTrak control system (throw it into a quick turn and the suspension immediately stiffens in response, keeping the body in firm control) ZF Servotronic II steering gear, 17" aluminum wheels and oversized high-performance brake rotors.

On the inside is Bose® 5.1 8-speaker sound system, which has an equally remarkable set of new features. An internal 40GB hard drive offers Tivo-like capability. The in-dash screen rises to full size so you can see all the information about the music you're listening to, view GPS navigation, or local traffic and weather forecast information. You also have an i-Pod cradle which allows you to sync in your music to the CTS's surround sound system or listen to MP3s straight off a flash drive plugged into a USB port hidden inside the CTS's center storage bin.
